Ta Prohm Temple, Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia
The Story of "Coexistence"
Once upon a time, an ancient Cambodian civilization built an incredible temple called Ta Prohm in a beautiful jungle outside of Siem Reap. A century later, the jungle has accepted its presence and learned to coexist with the constructs of man.
Each temple has its own unique character, and what I loved about Ta Prohm was the way the trees have continued onward and upward, intertwining themselves with the ancient ruins left behind. There is something so metaphorically beautiful about nature's resilience to change.
To quote an old classic; "life always finds a way."
It is worth noting that this temple was made famous by the Tomb Raider franchise as a primary filming location for the movies!
